The place is clean and the zoo is very large. Great for the family.

aw me and my husband had our first date here :)
the childrens section is probably the most fun ever.
the bats. the otters. :) ooo and the ground hogs!

A review of this place
For a city the size of Houston, I would have expected a larger zoo. Nevertheless, the zoo is rather quaint and Hermann Park is always nice. Its free on Holidays like MLK day etc but extremely crowded.
