A review of this place: Shhh, dont tell anyone...
I have been recovering my energies at the Lodge since 1994, and I can tell you there is no feeling quite like the one you get as you wind steeply down the 2 lane hwy and get your first glimpse of the magic and mystery that is Lake Crescent. The Lodge is quaint, clean, and historic, but it’s the Lake that is the star of the show. Sitting in an Adirondack chair by the lake, you can’t help but grin to yourself as the beauty of the place opens up to you. Getting that grin on my face is what brings me back here every year. Tip, go late in the season, especially Sep or Oct. You do not have to book years in advance; I always book same season, but you have to build your itinerary around the Lodge, not vice versa. See you there!

Lake Crescent Lodge
its one thing to actually visit there, its quite another to actually STAY there, and if you ever have you are very lucky. This lodge has to be booked three years in advance, and I’m unsure if they allow just anyone to book it. I went there and stayed for a school event, as they booked it every year on a specific weekend, just for the event. (It was Natural Helpers, and we had a conference with the new members every year)
All I can say is, wow. It’ll probably end up in a book written by me some day. its right on the lake and incomparably beautiful.
