Limassol

for 5 months last summer, its lovely.

My birthplace!

Limassol is a small sea shore city with many cafes, bars and restaurants. During the summer months its awake with tourists and nightlife. During the winter it quietens down but the beaches remain beautiful.

Surprisingly there is many Russians and Brits living in Cyprus in general so English is almost an official language :-) Greek being THE official language of the southern side of the island. Its a small island with a turbulent history and a divided land.

I don’t recall what time of year I was in Limassol but the wine festival was on during my stay. Let me just say that the wine was great (extremely cheap) the atmosphere was incredible but the morning after was horrible ;)
