Queenstown

Totally beautiful, peaceful, natural, and fun! The ultimate holiday destination. I’ve been here in all four seasons, and it was terrific every time! There are just so many things you can do, the cruise, the bush walking, the lake/snowy mountain view, the speciality stores, the relaxed atmosphere…. Not to mention the best ski fields in the world.
Remember to book your ski passes early. If you don’t know how to ski, just go to one lesson, it will get you started, and it’s easy and great fun!
Also remember, “The Remarkables” is good for beginners. Enjoy!

I’m not a huge adrenalie junkie, so I found Queenstown itself a bit tacky. I much preferred the nearby Glenorchy – great for walking or just lazing about in the sun.

Its perfect for thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies like me!!!

Take plenty of money… the adventures you can have here aren’t cheap, the shops are open till 10pm and the bars.. don’t get me started… 10/10.. ps. flying into Queenstown is an experience as well ;)

stay at the flaming kiwi hostel, Kent who runs it was great while i was cleaner there!

the bungee jumping, the skiing, the nightlife, the overall adventure available to you make this one of the best vacations ever!

possibly one of the most beautiful cities i’ve ever been to.

Queenstown and the whole south island is the best place to be on this earth. I wish that I could live there to the end of my days.
