Lutherstadt Wittenberg

I’m an American from Virginia living here in Lutherstadt-Wittenberg as a college program. It’s been 2 months thus far (2 more to go) and I have to say it’s been very enjoyable. It’s not fast moving town by any means. Close to a few major cities and towns: Berlin, Leipzig, Halle an der Saale, Dessau, Torgau, etc. I can see the castle church in the town center from my apartment window. It’s amazing! We have nothing like this at home!

I took the train here for a day with my roommate while studying abroad. It’s a beautiful town, and definitely worthwhile for anyone with Lutheran heritage. (That would be me.) I loved it.
