Monterey

I went about 15 years ago during a high school field trip. I was so happy while I was there. The whole day was mine. Went to the aquarium, which by the way was awesome! I specifically remember sitting on the stormy coast and feeding the pelicans pieces of bread from my lunch.

Go paddle boating on El Estero Lake and navigate to the island in the middle of the lake!

I lived there for two years and it was absolutely amazing! I want to take my husband who has never been and show him the sights.

We went kayaking here a few years ago and it was incredible. Sea lions and sea otters everywhere. It was my first kayaking experience and I’ll never forget it.

I lived here for about one and a half years. Gorgeous, but no snow.

used to live in beautiful pg, and ride along the bike path down to lovers point and all the way around towards spanish bay .. with the wind at my tail and the sound of the ocean crashing along the beaches, this has got to be high on anyones list of beautiful rides. one of my favourites!

This is one of my favorite places in the world. Great city, wonderful small spot that feels as if you’re disconnected from everything haphazard and troublesome. The aquarium, cannery row, the bay – everything is lots of fun. I myself eat absolutely no seafood and still the fishy salt air was comforting. I have a lot of childhood memories here, and it’s a vacation spot my family just can’t stay away from.

I can imagine taking someone I love here to show them a bit of my life. This is one of those places for me when everything becomes clear and I am twelve years old again, staring at the jellyfish amongst the school groups.

My husbaned proposed to me in the jail in the old-town area in Monterey, after a wonderful day of walking around all over town. We used to go down there to visit often when we lived in Santa Cruz. I miss it.

I pressed the wrong button. This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I spent a week long honeymoon here and it was amazing.
