Cooperstown Baseball Hall Of Fame by Waynesworld
It was nice and the town is very beautiful, but I wish they had more interactive and imaginative exhibits, like Toronto’s Hockey Hall Of Fame.

I went because my favorite player, Ryne Sandberg, got in. It was cool. Although the town was clearly overwhelmed by induction weekend, it was well worth it. A tip though: unless you REALLY want to see whoever get inducted, DO NOT go during induction weekend. It is much more expensive, crowded, and less enjoyable. Cooperstown really is a nice town, but with too many people it kind of looses that effect. Definitely worth seeing the HOF though! over 6 years agoSpend a weekend by RobynThere is a lot to see in the Hall of Fame… I spent an entire day slowly perusing the legends and landmarks of baseball past. Even then, I missed the complete archives housed in a separate library. Who knows how long I would have stayed if I had the time… not only for the hall, but for the picturesque Cooperstown. Based right on Lake Otswego, there were numerous places to sit and just stare out at the water… or you could go and have a nice dinner overlooking the lake, or just walk the quaint streets. It’s a beautiful little town. Definitely worth a return visit for me. over 6 years agoSee all 12 entries |
