Cooperstown

i went here a few years ago with my brothers baseball team for a baseball tournament. it was fun for them, pure agony for myself. only store besides baseball memorabilia stores is a walmart, ladies. in the whole town. it is a pretty place though. its in the middle of nowhere, rolling hills and lakes. unless you love baseball, you will be bored.

I went here just because my college was nearby, and I must say I wasn’t very impressed, but then again I’m not a baseball fan by all means. However I wasn’t completely lost for stuff to do, they have a really awesome used bookstore downtown, some neat little diners, and it’s worth visiting to go visit Otsego Lake (beautiful!). I just personally wouldn’t suggest going unless you’re going to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame as well, because there isn’t much to do here.

I have lived less than 20 minutes away from cooperstown my entire life and i have never been to the baseball hall of fame. But nevertheless it is a pretty town and if you like baseball then you should absolutely visit it!

i went in the fall with my dad and it was great. The baseball hall of fame is wonderful of course, but the town itself is really charming and the surrounding area is beautiful and right on a huge lake. i’d like to go again in the summer and stay in a cabin on the lake.
