Barton Springs

I didn’t go swimming, but I got a good look around, waded a bit, then met my friend for kayaking along the river. All in all a fun outing, and now I can find it to go swimming later.

i love Barton Springs. Austin has great swimming and this is the best spot. During the summer it gets packed! but in the cold it is pretty quiet. it was hard for me to get in at first but i went everyday until i developed a tolerance for the cold water and now i can’t get enough. i love the sea weeds on the floor of the pool. it’s one of my favorite all time places. and austin is open minded enough to allow people to be topless. that is why i love austin.

You can go swimming here, but brace yourself before jumping in. The water is cold all year!

it was October and about 85 degrees, whereas my hometown of Seattle was in the 40s and raining.

The first time I went to Barton Springs I didn’t know I could go topless : ) I love to be naked and topless is a good start, I love Barton Springs!
