I visited here in ‘05 while en route to Gulfort primarily to see Rowan Oak (William Faulkner’s home). What a wonderful day we had.

Twenty something years ago I came to Oxford to visit a girl and fell in love with this town. I never left. It’s grown by leaps and bounds since that weekend, yet has managed to retain that small towm charm and warmth that enchanted me to begin with. Oh, and the girl? Well, she’s been my wife for twenty years now.

I loved Oxford, I went to a tennis camp there, and ate a ajax diner also.

I would drive all the way back to Oxford to eat at Ajax Diner on the square…country fried steak and sides! YUM! It is really an enchanting town!

I was born in Oxford. Nice place, great people, excellent lifestyle. It really reminds me a lot of New England (especially the Square), and it has lots of good qualities to it. Great food, and if you’re looking for an excellent university, Ole Miss is the place to be. Give it a shot if you’re looking for a beautiful vacation spot; there’s almost never a shortage of things to do.

I went down for a job interview once, and got to stroll around Ole Miss and visit Rowan Oak. Very nice city.
