Alanya

Was very beautiful place to visit…I just had tons of fun there!! Clubs were fun, the beach was great! Just try it someday!

Alanya is beautiful and is right on the Mediterranian Sea. It’s a very nice place, the only downfalls are the hot weather and the lack of culture and history. Alanya is very inhabited by tourists, which is both a positive and negative thing. A positive is that more people speak english there than say Bursa or somewhere with not so many tourists. Some negatives are that you don’t really get a taste of what real Turkish life and culture are like. And that everything is way more expensive in Alanya. The castle in Alanya is also very cool, I actually walked all along one of the walls and the sight I got of the sea was gorgeous! I spent a month in Turkey and a week of that was in Alanya, but if you’re going to spend time in Turkey I would advise you to go to Istanbol or Bursa, then if you have time or want some relaxing time on the beach to go to Alanya.

This is a busy resort with a lot of people from mixed countries on holiday . Theres alot to do at night eating, drinking or shopping at the large outdoor market .Very freindly people but they do pester you by trying to get you into their resteraunt or bar . Worth going to Side for a day out as well as walking up to the castle . Theres a great resteraunt half way up the hill to the castle with great views looking out over Alanya.

Meeting of the East and the West… Modernity and Tradition… You only have to open your eyes and discover all the wonders that this area can offer to you….

...but don’t look at Mehmet outside of the damlataş cave…. ;)
