Docklands

Though there aren’t many things to do here, the hotels are all very nice and modern… nice views of the water but it’s a pretty lengthy commute to the london city center as u have to take the docklands railway then tranfer to the tube… good for business travellers as it is close to london’s financial district and the exhibition place…

I worked here for a while before the extra towers went up. It was pretty cool being in the only truly modern part of London. There’s a bunch of pubs and eateries, and you can enjoy the summer sun by the waterside. But for the most part the space is populated by thousands of financial analysts.

The outerlying areas such as towards the massive eXcel exihibition centre and city airport are pretty barren, but hide the odd suprise like the workshops at Faraday’s lighthouse (Trinity Bouy Wharf).
