International Space Station aka: ISS, I.S.S.

My first time on the space station … well, the duplicate one in Houston that is used for engineering and development … was for orientation. My assigned astronaut showed me around and we talked about the need for consistent systems in all the modules. For example, when does it make sense to have 10base2 and 10baseT ethernet cabling? Never? or when one module is built in a large formerly communist cold war power and all the rest are built in the former “free world”? Yes, that is apparently the correct answer.

Also, wall plugs. 28 volts anyone? anyone?

I want to be an astronaut, I know it would take a lot of work but I’m going to do my best to get there!

...even if I have to build my own. (That would require first ammassing a large fortune, but I’m young enough that it’s still possible)
