Dunstable

Could be worth visiting solely because of the company, however. A nice town to wander around aimlessly… lots of colored garages.

She loves Dunstable and always whines about going back there. It’s OK, I suppose. It’ss meant to be a fantastic market town, but frankly, Hitchin is more historical. And…Dunstable has a better ASDA than Luton, is it’s in my bad books.

The Downs are nice though.

Quiet commuter town – apart from when the M1 has problems and a secondary motorway sets up through the centre of town, which to be honest is most days. Shopping in the town is hit and miss (the charity shops, estate agents and mobile phone shops outweighing anything else) but the nearby rolling Chiltern Hills are attractive. Wouldn’t recommend coming to Dunstable as a tourist thing, but as a place to live – well, I’ve been in worse places.
