Turner Field

Oh. Wow. I don’t even know what to say about the Tomahawk Chop. I’m sure Braves’ fans find it important, but wow. I can see how someone might find this offensive. Or not.

In any case, I’d put the field in the middle of the pack for the major-league baseball fields I’ve been to. Nice enough, but not truly wonderful. Don’t get me wrong, nearly every ballpark is better than the upper-deck-only for upper deck tickets at Comiskey Park.

The vendors didn’t really seem to go through the stands, and the concessions didn’t seem all that exciting. On the other hand, the field is easy to get around and plays up the Braves’ history. If I lived in Atlanta, I’d definitely make a trip in pretty often.

who doesn’t love peanuts and coke? the best part are the animations on the big huge screens :)

was awesome. i dont like baseball but i had fun! i love that resurant that is right beside of it…were you get a bucket of beer… i cant remember the name

Will they catch those pesky Mets this year? It’s lookin’ doubtful. It’s kinda embarrassing that the Bravos can’t sell out a home playoff game whereas a team like the Red Sox sells out EVERYHOMEGAME! Oh, well, I guess 13 years of winning the division made Atlantans jaded or something. Maybe we need some losing seasons to foster some appreciation.

I was totally overwhelmed. I have been to MANY baseball stadiums in my lifetime, but Turner Field is an EXPERIENCE!
