Boracay in the Philippines by Treefern
Boracay is simply wonderful. It is the perfect place to unwind, soak up some sun, frolic in the water and relax.
Along the beach in Boracay there is a restaurant and hotel strip with three boat stations. The beach is approximately 4km long and there is a white sandy path between the beach and the restaurants, dive centres, various vendors and places to stay. The restaurants range from budget to mid range in price. There are a variety of styles from Filipino to international cuisines. Definately recommend trying some Filipino food while you are there.
The locals are very pleasant and we were never hassled. When the sidewalk sellers asked if we wanted to buy a tour or sunglasses, we simply said ‘no thanks’ and they replied with an ‘okay’ or ‘ok, Merry Christmas’.
