Ein Gedi

It was hot as hades!!!! BUT, when we made it to the water, it was FANTASTIC!!!!!. Everyone loved it. It is beautiful. If you go to one of the main falls, look behind the bush over a small platform/ledge/landing. It is growning out of the rock… There is a hole with water coming directly out of the rock! Cool!

absolutely one of the most amazing and stunning places I’ve been so far.
It is definatly worth it hiking trough the canyons.

Who would’ve expected such a lovely place in the middle of nowhere at one of the lowest points on the planet? Thanks Barak for taking me here.

Not far from the Dead Sea there is an oasis, where some intrepid Israelis established a kibbutz. Nowadays it is a guesthouse (basic but comfortable) and it also serves a spa on the banks of the Dead sea.

Very pleasant, and has the added bonus of an incredible night sky.
