Love planes? Go. by colol

If you’re even the least bit interested in aviation, this museum is well worth a visit. They’ve got something for everyone — retired iterations of Air Force One, countless old commercial airliners, an SR-71 Blackbird, the Sentimental Journey… It’s easily a full day if you want to see it all.

In my opinion, the best part is that you’ll always find veterans in the WWII hangars happy to talk about their experiences on the very plane you’re standing in front of. It’s one thing to marvel at a plane and the missions it flew, it’s another to hear the stories firsthand.

Beware January — huge tour groups tend to come through that time of year.
