I love Dupont Circle. by cottonball

I love Dupont Circle. The hill it’s on, the fountain it leads too. Pure peace. The people on the steps of the Russian House. The farmer’s market on Sunday morning. The beautiful residential streets off the forks of this road with their mini gardens – a variety of flora and fauna. A living neighbourhood. Gentle nightlife and patios. Neighbourhood record store, bookstore, and ice cream. I love the roundness and completeness of the park benches. Books-a-million. The drumming ladies on Sat. morning. People getting some peace as the get out the metro.

Awesome place, bustling and full of activity. Filled with nice restaurants & coffee shops, as well as kitschy stores, especially if you’re into the LGBT scene.
