Naoshima aka: 直島町, Naoshima-chō

Starting off at before 8am from Hiroshima, we had a full day at Naoshima. It would have been great to stay, but we just didn’t have enough time!

The Naoshima ‘art island’ experience is fantastically superb. Don’t miss it!

As your eyes adapt to the darkness, the room begins to glow with a blue light. Eventually the blue glow masks the edges of the room. Part of the Naoshima Art House Project; their newsletter describes it well.
