We are going to chicago next week and we have reservations for thursday night. I am SO excited!

CBS Sunday Morning featured this Chicago restaurant so I put it on my future wish list. I don’t know if I can justify paying $175 (!!) for a meal. You choose a tasting menu & they present you which creative interpretations of each ingredient such as lamb, fig & pernod on a pillow of sassafras air (?). A big part of the concept is the food presentation with edible menus and chewy balsamic vinegar on skewers.

However – a friend of mine is living in Chicago right now so you never know!
