Mountain View

Not sure who would want to visit mountain view but its interesting to me that this was posted. I guess if you are into the NASA Ames Research lab or taking a tour of technology campus locations then this is the visit for you. But I can imagine a lot better places in the world… let alone the bay area that would be worth seeing.

i picked up tony at google and we had sushi for lunch. then i drove to san diego and melted in the car.

My brother lives here, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen him. We hope to visit him in late February.

We were visiting a friend who lives there. Very cute downtown area with great coffeehouses!

You can stay here cheap, it’s got a decent downtown, but make sure you visit the rest of the Bay Area…

We did enjoy the Ames Research Facility though…

Awesome smaller city on the penninsula. Visit the downtown for great food. Love the Cantankerous Fish and Don Giovani. Excellent parks and a beautiful civic center.

I used to live here, and I would definitely go back. The downtown area was great, there are too many restaurants to choose from (most of them excellent), and transportation and shopping are all close by. What’s not to love?

Good fakemeat (Garden Fresh) and reputedly good Indian food, though I don’t think I’ve actually eaten Indian food in the MV.

One of the few crappy towns in South Bay / Peninsula worth visiting, because there’s a good number of good places to eat, including places with fakemeat. Notable for a good chance to get good Asian, Indian and Hawaiian food, though it can be a little overrun with the young, rich, beautiful, and snobby who block the sidewalks through all of downtown.
