Cedarburg

It’s really twee. Which is fine. I saw a small-town production of a musical here, but the downtown looks like a place I will want to check out on a date with my wife. Lots of old buildings and Cream City brick. Lots.

Oh yes! Go to the annual wine and harvest festival in the autumn and see this lovely little town near Milwaukee. For me, as a non-USian, it captures that quintessential Americana feeling.

It’s a great place if you’d like to see a historic small town complete with a quaint little downtown and year-round festivals.
