Snowmass

It was a beatiful place to visit. But I think I would have rather stayed in Aspen. It only takes an hour to see all the shops and restaurants, etc. And thats if you want to look inside all of them. Its cute, just really quaint. We went into Aspen on our way out and I had wished we had more time to check out that city b/c it seemed there was more to do there.

I went in March and took a ski lessons for 4 days. First, the weather was great—40-50 degrees and sunny. Second, the ski school is fabulous—had never been on skis and was doing parallel turns and skiing blues by the end of the week. Third, the school is a huge bargain—equipment, tickets, and lessons all wrapped into one fee. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Excellent ski area for all levels of skill. So huge, you could spend several days here and spend each one in a different area of the mountain. I have very fond memories of this place.
