Plus, the shopping is more intense in the area too. over 5 years agoVertigo by ladyzelayaIt’s just nice to have a view of 4 states from one single tower. If you go to Chicago, you have to look for John Hancock Observatory. 80 miles up, vertigo and an excellent view, take pictures, it’s amazing. over 5 years agoJohn Hancock Center by Bob50Better views and shorter lines than the Sears Tower over 6 years agoBlue Trees by shinyredshoesAcross the street from the Hancock Tower is a church with a great looking spire. The particular time we were there they had shiny blue ribbons tied all over the front trees. They shook with the wind & sparkled like jewels. I know that they were for something but I was so overwhelmed by how beautiful it was that I don’t even remember what their purpose was. Great view by juliduI just wish i could have seen it during the day over 6 years agobest views! by Noranbest views of the city—far better than sears tower! the sunset is great from there too, aswell as 4th of july fireworks! well worth the price! over 6 years agoUntitled by midwestgirlI took the elevator all the way up to the top where the restaurant and bar is. I believe its called “The Signiture Room”. I was warned when I heard that it was the fastest elevator in the city and at first I thought that was a good thing. The elevator made me feel like my heart and brain were going to implode. It was like being in space without a protective spacesuit or something. I thought I was dying all the way up but when I got there on the 98th floor or something like that, the view was awesome! It was…incredible. The bar ran all the way around the building facing the big window view. I sipped my $5 dollar Coke and soaked in the view. Then braved the crazy elevator ride back down. over 6 years agoSee all 24 entries |
