Idlewild Park

Great park for kids. Grew up in the area and worked there in the summers. School picnics and family picnics were a lot of fun there.

Many years of school picnics here. Great place for kids to run around and have a great time. I loved it as a child and so did my children.

It’s best recommended you take kids to this park. It’s geared towards them more than anything. If you are an adult and not with kids, then you may become bored. There’s Mister Roger’s trolley ride :)

close to home, i go a few times a year, love the h2o zone and the wild mouse!

Admission has gone up in recent years, but season passes make Idlewild a great deal. Why get a pool pass when, for a few bucks more, you could have an amusement park pass? Be sure to try the Rollo-coaster, the Roundup, the Whip, the Caterpillar, the Spider, the Paratroopers… man, this is a trip down memory lane. Just try everything! Bring your swimsuit, because there’s a water park in the back (the H20hhhh Zone).
