Kennywood Park

I would recommend going during the summer. It’s a great park, but not busy like Cedar Point. Fantastic food. You gotta go to the Potato Patch. I would suggest getting the make your own slushie too. I went once for their Halloween Weekends, skip it. The lines were hours long and the haunted houses weren’t even scary. They weren’t dark so you could see everything, including hiding places and doors.

i was a little girl. It blew my young mind. I had a great time. It’s probably changed a bunch but it was a fun park with many good old fashion rides for people of all ages.

Every year from grade one through grade twelve, we went on a school picnic to Kennywood at the end of the school year. The last time I was there was a few years ago with my two nephews. Some new rides have been added, but it hasn’t changed all that much. A real trip down memory lane for me.

if youre not from around here/have gone for your school day every summer im not sure what your opinion of kennywood would be, but i grew up in the north hills and my summer is not complete without a trip to kennywood along with one of their funnel cakes. the thunderbolt never gets old either
