and lets face it, after one night in the Mended Drum, you’re likely to be -
there’s always the Biers, a friendly local for the dead/undead.
Just be careful what you ask for at the bar2.

just wanna proceed along short street, shaking hands with doorknobs and finding out about the famous ankh-morpork sense of humour

I just want to spend a rainy night there walking the street, shaking hands with doorhandles and doing the usual watch business… Nothing more. Oh, and smoke a cigar. Definitely a cigar :)

... but it would be fascinating to get inside Unseen University and the various guilds.
