Auburn

I was almost 13. We pulled into town and all I saw was eagles on everything. War Eagle this, War Eagle that. I thought it was tacky.

The other day, across a crowded room, I cheered, “War Eagle” to a fellow alumnae of Auburn University. It didn’t feel tacky at all.

I haven’t been home in over three years. It’s about time.

I moved here from Texas to meet my boyfriend.

He’s great…the rest of the town sucks.

Texas owns all.

I go to Auburn, and I love it here. It’s a relatively safe campus, low incidences of rape and assault. There’s not really much of a nightlife, there are bars that feature various cover bands, but no nightclubs or original music (gotta go to ATL or The Ham for that) It’s a great place to tailgate for football games. I must admit, it’s great for a college experience, but I’d never want to live here permanently.

war eagle! i like going to the auburn campus. its fun seeign where my mother went to school.

I grew up in the auburn/opelika area..but i moved to raleigh nc about 2 years ago..i miss auburn so much!

just finished a degree at Auburn University and loved all four years!
