I will be going here for a week in February with a friend from Sevilla (another place I want to go). I’m looking forward to having a break from the cold and precipitation. We’re planning to spend time in Old San Juan, bike to the rain forest, and take the ferry to another island.

Stay at the Caribe Hilton. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Just got back yesterday. Great place. Stayed in El Convento in the center of Old San Juan. The buildings are beautiful, the beaches weren’t crowded, and the restaurant selection is vast.

san juan in feb by jnbeck125

I was in san juan feb. 06 and it was great. It was insanely cold in DC and the break in San Juan was great. It was hot and I could wear tshirts and flip flops. I went to the beach and saw the rainforest. Def. reccommend staing at the Caribe Hilton. It has a private beach and such. Really nice. A little outta the way from Old San Juan and casinos. Don’t take the taxis from the hotel tho. Walk down the street and get one. Also ate somewhere called Bebo’s which was really good. Love plantains!
