Badger

Well whatever other people say about “passing through it on the highway”, Badger is a place that is full of life, even though it is small. Everyone in this tiny community is very close and knows one another very well. There’s something to be said about being able to sleep peacefully at night from knowing your neighbours very well. :)

This town is situated on the Exploits River and is one of the greatest sights to be seen in Newfoundland.. seeing a moose/caribou from across the river on a summer day is a sight unlike any other. I recommend heading up Buchans Highway and exploring the many side roads with tons of cabins hidden away. And if you come to a beautiful pine log cabin with a sign reading “M & M Paul” stop in for a drink and tell them that Sara sent you!
