Poor Richards Sandwich Shop was my favorite place to eat and the Elizabethan Gardens was my favorite place that I visited. I also enjoyed the aquarium that we went to. The beaches were very clean and the people were very friendly. I would definitely go back. over 5 years agoUntitled by sinsofthedoveI went on a weeklong vacation with about 30 college friends (sort of a reunion trip) and it was awesome! We did a lot of different things – outdoor excursions, museum trips, lighthouse tours, etc – and just enjoyed the weather. Go in midsummer if you want the water to be warm enough to swim in. over 5 years agoUntitled by MegKeiperI am going to this place in June for a wedding and I can’t wait to go. I heard that it is beautiful and I hope that we will have good weather. I will be down there for a week in a condo with another family that we know so I think that we will have a great time. over 6 years agoUntitled by hazelingWent to Nags Head a year ago for my aunt’s wedding. We rented out a beach house on the ocean and spent the whole week partying. This was one of those places I never wanted to leave. You could sit on the balcony and feel the spray of the ocean on your face, or go for a walk on the boardwalk in the immediate area.
