Fairmont Hot Springs

As a teenager, one of the highlights of the Christmas season was a trip to Fairmont Hot Springs sometime during the holidays… dashing in swimsuit through the falling snow to jump into the warm pool… what fun we had! The contrast of cold air and hot water was invigorating, and the stop at the little chalet near Canal Flats for a drink by the fireplace on the way home made the outing perfect.

My ENTIRE family went to hotsprings for the millenium. It was an amazing resort! Some of us played nintendo 64, others sat in the jacuzzi outside in the snow.
