Worth visiting!
Yep, it is the 2nd largest volcano valley in the world I believe. It is beautiful! I’ve spent a few weekends out there. It is a little boring…but I like it there.

A tip I have about this place — 2 years ago
Worth visiting!
I don’t have much of a significant tip except, but here it goes.
I recommend staying at the Hotel Los Capitanes right in the town of El Valle. Even if you decide to only make this a day trip/adventure, It’s well worth spending the night at the hotel because you are guaranteed to be exhausted by the end of the day.

Worth visiting!
This town lies inside the caldera of an old volcano. It is a great place to visit with lots of trails for day hikes, waterfalls, and bike trails.
