It was rainy when we got to Nantucket – so we just did some shopping, went to lunch and then walked to the Brant Lighthouse. I’d like to go back someday in better weather and spend the night and explore farther parts of the island. over 4 years agoUntitled by sinsofthedoveSeriously, avoid the high tourist season (July and August). It is a miserable time to be there if you want to do anything but feel like you’re at a seaside resort. Come up in late May or early June to get the nice start-of-summer weather and avoid crowded everything. over 4 years agoUntitled by dasmadrigalNantucket Island has Bed and Breakfasts that rival any I’ve seen before. Warm and quaint little spot.
