Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

Now, technically, I have already been to County Antrim (Belfast), but I really wanna see the Glens of Antrim. Driving along the shore would be beautiful!

The Giant’s Causeway never fails to take my breath away. There’s just something incredible about that place- it’s almost magical. And the stories and legends surrounding it are great, as well. Northern Ireland is always overlooked by everyone but it’s a beautiful place full of awesome people. And thankfully, it’s a much safer place to travel these days, as well.

Antrim Coast  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

The Antrim coast is an awesome place with cliffs, crashing waves, hidden castles and a rather scary rope bridge to dare yourself across. Don’t miss Bushmills – famous for whisky but a nice place to have a meal in the evening.

Okay, I just want to go to Ireland in general, but I was delighted to pick this from the list for reasons only Ms April O’Neal may understand.

That "Geneology Thang"  — 3 years ago

My maternal grandmother would talk about “County Antrim” but she couldn’t have remembered much of it because her family emigrated when she was quite young. However, she burned in me a strong desire to visit one day. Equipped with the family tree that my uncle made, I’d like to go and walk the ancestral stomping grounds, take a few snaps, drink some stout… y’know, the whole “geneology thing.”
