quaint
and it’s pronounced “toke”.....don’t look like an idiot like me and call it “tock”. We were just passing through, so as a one-night stop, it wasn’t bad. Eddy’s was good.

A review of this place: Pancakes
I’ve driven through Tok a few times before crossing the border into Canada.
There is this one campground, called the Sourdough Campground and they have amazing pancakes. They are verywellknown for their pancake tossing contest and other fun activites.
Don’t go out of your way to visit Tok, but if you have the chance you might as well stop by.

Move Along, Nothing to See Here
Spent too many formative years in Tok to recommend it. If you do go through (you’ll have to if you want to escape to/from Alaska by car), the food at Fast Eddy’s (where I used to cook) is traditionally good. Try not to break down—half of Tok’s residents had car problems and never escaped…

Gateway to Alaska
Tok is the highway entry point when coming from Canada—which is the only way you can enter Alaska by driving. It’s not much of a town. Really just a stopping point for gas, motel and food when driving through.
