I hate branson cops! They harassed me today (June 2, 2010.) told me i ran a stop sign which i didn’t and he knew it. so he gave me a ticket for not having a front license plate on my corvette.. who in the hell honestly has a front license plate on a corvette. no one puts them on! this cop has pulled me over twice in the last week. I wouldn’t reccomand anyone to come to branson, missouri with there family. they will only harass you and give you tickets so they can make money. its costing me over 180.00 dollars a week just to drive through Branson. Stay out of branson and no cop will bother you.

Oh I loathed this place. The hills, the people, the “entertainment.” The only thing I liked was Ripley’s and even then my family got mad at me for spending so long in there.

No desire, whatsoever, to go back.

Been there many times by aftondays

My family vacationed in Branson every year for eight years. They still do, in fact, but I don’t go with them because I’m married now…but anyway, Branson holds a special place in my heart because I have so many good memories there. It’s where I met my husband in person for the first time (we met online), not to mention all the great times I had with my parents and sisters. I think it’s a good place for a family vacation.

Otherwise, it’s true that most of the shows and shopping seem to be attractive to seniors, not so much the younger crowd. Silver Dollar City is fun, however, and the scenery and lakes are lovely.
