Worth visiting!
A review of this place: Simply amazing, best sailing experience ever.
I recently went sailing in the south Ionian with my family and loved every minute. We went during last July as well, sailed for 1 week and stayed in a hotel in Kefalonia the next. We sailed for 2 weeks this time and I’d highly recommend it to anybody, with or without sailing experience! The sights are beautiful during the day and night, crystal clear waters, pretty Greek villages, caves along the coast of Meganissi, amazing stars at night and the food is out of this world. If going to Kefalonia a place worth visiting is Fiskardo on the north of the island which was untouched by the 1953 earthquake so many Venician buildings still stand along the harbour. The photo above was taken at Port Atheni on Meganissi island in mid July 2007.

Great sailing, beautiful night skies
They are so many amazing islands that are really remote, so of course the night skies are soooo incredibly beautiful. There are so many stars and you can see shooting stars and satilites, id recommend to anyone. Special places to go are:
Vasaliki (great windsurfing)
One House Bay (kewl place to anchor the boat and take a swim)
