Must Visit if in Tassie by swagman

Port Arthur is a surreal place. It has great historic buildings in a beautiful place but it is shrouded with, and not surprisingly, an eerie feeling considering all the pain that people have felt there.

I went here in 1987 as a kid and thought it was a great adventure. I was surprised when I returned to tassie a few years ago that they don’t mention the massacre to tourists there.

the Ghost Tour was the creepiest thing i’ve ever done!!! and having to cross the entire area alone after the tour to get back to the hostel almost made me pee my pants…
