Be cautious about travelling in or around Gainesville around the beginning of holiday breaks or around football games. Traffic is unbelievable. Seek alternative routes to I-75!

I really love it here. The relaxed atmosphere is really what made me want to move back. I think though I would rather visit than live here, the college students start pissing you off after awhile.

My unfortunate journey here was in January of 2006. Outright stupid. It was horribly humid, the people were weird, and every corner I turned, I was looking for someone playing Dueling Banjos.

Did I mention the university is a huge MoFo to get through….

Spend a week there visiting family, it was such a “classic” american city, like the ones we see in the movies :) very cute
