Udine

My memories of this place are of a very quiet, handsome town, with many interesting renaissance buildings and a fine castle.

I enjoyed a their art collection very much too; the gallery is very peaceful.

It’s a very nice city I’ve just visited when in Venice, great places, alleys, squares, food & wine. Must to see: castle’s view, Piazza San Giacomo and all the shops around, but above all Piazza Libertà with the great Loggia, one of the best squares I’ve ever seen, just worh it.

I’m been living here since 1993.Venice and Trieste, which are not far from Udine, are SO much better..You can visit Udine in half a day only!
