Willow

Quiet little town; good for fishing in the summer, and checking out the whole dug mushing thing in the winter. (The Iditarod Restart has been held in Willow the last few years, I think.) Willow Winter Carnival is kind of fun. Not a must-see or anything, but there are plenty of interesting characters, and if you’re driving through anyway it’s worth stopping for a soda somewhere along the way to chat with folks.
