You have to try the homemade doughnuts for dessert. They are excellent.

Yummy brunch....  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

Food was great. Decor is fun. And it was so convenient to walk downstairs from our room at Hotel Andra and eat such a delicious brunch. I was so happy when I asked to substitute the potatoes with fruit, that instead of bringing the notorious slice of melon, or teeny bunch of grapes, they brought me a huge bowl with lovingly cut up kiwi, mango, papaya, pinapple, grapes, orange, and grapefruit. And it was all fresh! Cheers to damn good service.

I loved the design of this place. It wins the coveted Best Use of Wood and Leather in a Tasteful and Restrained yet Inventive and Modern Way prize, for sure. It wasn’t showy or distracting at all, but a perfectly comfortable environment for a nice long brunch. And the food was good too; I had a very silly breakfast of freshly-made doughnuts. Also the barrel-aged minty feta is remarkable, and comes on pita bread at least as good as Cafe Paloma’s.

    Charming!  — 2 years ago

Lola has got the most charming breakfast presentation. Little teensy jars of jam on a plate with pats of butter. Your own mini coffee carafe. Individually wrapped sugar cubes in a little white ceramic box. Everything is so cute. I ordered handmade doughnuts with vanilla marscapone and apricot jam. Handmade doughnuts! My companion in eating ordered world’s most horrifying breakfast: braised octopus with fried pork belly, potatoes and an egg. I tried to concentrate on my doughnuts but I could see the entire bowl of octopus jiggle from the corner of my eye as he cut into a piece. Ew. This menu item was called “Tom’s big breakfast.” What is up with that Tom, you freak? Whatever. I stole one of your tiny jam jars so now we are even.
