The first time I went here was quite a few years ago when they had a big Monet exhibit. It was wonderful. The Kimbell always seems to get amazing exhibits that I want to go to, but I never can seem to get around to getting there before they move on!

World class art museum by Mooneyes

The Kimbell is my favorite art museum. I like that it is small but good. I can see everything that is on display in an afternoon. There are so many wonderful paintings and sculptures there. The building itself is well designed as well. The Kimbell is located near several other art museums with specialized collections. My favorite pieces change each time I go there, although I am still drawn to a painting of a Willow tree by Claude Monet. It was painted late in life when he was having vision trouble, but it still captures the beauty of the willow.
