You can find anything here. I come here for hard to find records, new music, and free live shows.

it was definitely huge, is it literally the biggest on the planet or does it just seem that way?
I went straight to their world music collection, and was greatly impressed. I bought some Javanese and Balinese Gamelan, some Fado, and some Brazilian music. Then I bought some DVDs, including cinema paradiso, which I watched last night and thought was good.
I’m glad I stumbled across this place in my short stay in LA.

A review of this place: I love this place
I’ve been going to Amoeba for years now. They’ve got it all and I love them for it. I mostly buy used CDs from them. The quality is always great as are the prices. There isn’t a lot of staff on the floor, but when I squeeze my way over to the info desk, they are always helpful

It's really simple
You, in fact, will not necessarily spend oodles upon oodles of money here at Amoeba. Having been many many times, you can come in, browse around and leave without feeling the need to spend. Just shop as you want to and don’t feel compulsive about it. If you want it again, you’ll find it again.
