Acton

i live in palmdale and we never get rain here! but the other day there were these huge ominous clouds coming toward us from the distance so my husband, the dog, and i decided to hop onto the 14 south and try and “catch the rain.” hahaha…. we ended up in acton… it still wasn’t raining, but the clouds hugged the beautiful mountains and we could smell the moisture. it was bone-chilling cold… especially considering the past weeks before that day it was in the hundreds. we drove past the thousand trails camp which looked pretty… definitely a lot more trees in acton than palmdale. it’s beautiful and mountainous and with those clouds blanketting across the landscape, it was absolutely stunning.
