I finally ended up going through Johnson City recently when I unfortunately discovered that I-40 to TN was detoured due to a rock slide. It was possibly the worst road trip I have ever taken and as it turns out, Johnson City was so incredibly underwhelming for all the hype over the years :( over 2 years agoUntitled by CitizenAimI don’t know anything about Johnson City but every time I have ever driven through NC on I-26 or I-40, I have seen a sign for this town and it sort of tugs me towards it, almost to the point where I want to keep driving there. Maybe one day I will find my fate there. over 5 years agocollege town... not much to do by sauceyvixenbut visit friends.
