Inwood

I finally got to meet my friend/ex’s family in Inwood. I got off the train and called him up to say I had arrived so he could meet me, and I tell him that I can see a rat walking past and he says ‘welcome to Inwood’. His family were very hospitable, and we ate lots of great food. The apartment went pretty small for the number of people living in it, but they dealt with the situation well. I’m glad I finally got there – my first time above 96th street.
