I went to a pizza joint called “The Loop.” Good food, cheep prices, and you can even get a beer! I’m a vegetarian..but they also have tons of carnivore cuisine for all you ravenous meat eaters :)

There’s speciality pizza’s, cous-cous salads, BEER, sandwhiches, BEER and umm lots of other things!

The only down side is that you pick up your own food at the counter.—and its a little loud in there..because there are tons of people always eating there. But the people who work there do bus your dishes at the end.

It’s not a place for a quiet romantic date…but it IS a place for kickass food of all kinds, quick service, good prices, low lights and comfortable soft wood tables & chairs…and umm BEER!

This is a wonderful college town, and a wonderful town. A warning though: don’t come here and think this town is North Carolina. Orange County is very much doing it’s own thing.

Tip: Get the ravioli at the Rathskeller, order a martini at the East End Wine bar, spin in a circle a couple times for good measure. That should get you ready for a long, fun night.

Chapel Hill is the University of North Carolina and has been in existence since 1795, when it was the first state university in the country. The 2,000-acre campus holds 125 buildings, ranging from Old East, the oldest state university building in the country (its cornerstone was laid in 1793), to the Morehead Planetarium, which was an astronaut-training center in the early days of the U.S. space program. Just before the Civil War erupted, the student body was the second largest in the country, after Yale's. Then the fighting started, and most of UNC's undergraduates and faculty left for the battlefield. The school closed down from 1868 to 1875. (read article)
